Due MONDAY AUGUST 15TH!!!

Dear New Student,
I am pleased to have you in my class! In order to get to know you a little better, I would like for you to complete this first assignment. It is due next Monday, but you may turn it in earlier. You are to write a letter to me. In the letter, you are to include the following information:
· Something fun you did this summer
· Your likes and dislikes
· Your expectations and goals for ELA this year
· Where and when you were born
· Overview of your family
· Three adjectives you would use to describe yourself
· Where you plan on attending high school
· Anything else interesting you’d like to share with me
Do not simply answer the questions like a list. Be creative and descriptive!
Leave your letter as a comment on this post. Be sure to include your first name, last initial, and your class period.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Ms. Kimbrough
